Ohio State and Georgia scheduled a home-and-home series to begin in 2020, but OSU asked out of that agreement in 2012, due to the Big Ten's then-scheduling agreement with the Pac-12. (You see, the playoffs were still the boogeyman of the sport in 2012, and OSU had concerns about playing UGA and a tough Pac-12 opponent in the same year.)
But fast forward to 2015, and Georgia is again on the hunt for contests against "memorable" competition in "iconic stadiums."
Georgia's athletic director, Greg McGarity, has even went as far as to solicit staff, friends, and students for ideas, according to Seth Emerson of Macon.
