Garrett Wilson and Nicholas Petit-Frere are getting trees in Buckeye Grove.
The Ohio State wide receiver and left tackle were both named first-team All-Americans on Friday by the Football Writers Association of America, one of the five voting bodies that determines the consensus All-American teams.
Chris Olave also received second-team All-American honors from the FWAA.
Wilson, who was only a second-team All-Big Ten selection, was recognized by the FWAA as one of the three best wide receivers in college football this season (along with Pitt’s Jordan Addison and Purdue’s David Bell) after catching 70 passes for 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns during the regular season.
