Another week, another daunting Big Ten road game.
Last week, Ohio State traveled to Wisconsin, home of the eighth-ranked Badgers and 81,000 fans doing the “Jump Around.”
This week, it’s Penn State and a frenzied “White Out” crowd of 107,000 at Beaver Stadium. Like the Badgers, the Nittany Lions (4-2, 2-1) are rested after an off week. They would love nothing more than to give coach James Franklin a much-needed signature win against the second-ranked Buckeyes (6-0, 3-0).
If Penn State, a 19-point underdog, is to pull the upset, it will do something that no other host team has done against coach Urban Meyer’s Buckeyes: beat visiting Ohio State on the home field.
