Amara Darboh of Michigan is far from the most prolific receiver in the nation, but he has more often than not made a catch when the Wolverines needed one most.
Considering that Darboh leads Michigan in receptions with 44 headed into a game today at Ohio State, the Buckeyes will have to keep tabs on him. Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said the 6-foot-2, 215-pound fifth-year senior has improved this season, “really, in all areas.”
“His catch radius has expanded,” Harbaugh said. “His route-running ability, especially against press coverage, which he has seen a lot of this year (Ohio State uses it, too), that’s been really good for his progress as a football player.
