First-year running back Brian Snead isn't with the team in Dallas for Ohio State's matchup against TCU Saturday night.
According to Tim May of The Columbus Dispatch, acting head coach Ryan Day confirmed Snead did not travel with the Buckeyes, although no explanation was given.
The Seffner, Florida, native was one of the gems in Ohio State's 2018 recruiting class. Snead was ranked the No. 80 overall recruit nationally and third-best running back, and he chose the Buckeyes over offers from Florida, Michigan and Tennessee, among others.
Snead played in both of Ohio State's first two games, gaining 37 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.
