Former Ohio State wide receiver Corey Smith Jr. has been arrested for violating his parole.
Smith, who caught passes for the Buckeyes from 2013-16, was apprehended in Columbus on Wednesday morning by the U.S. Marshal Service's Apprehension Team.
Smith is wanted in West Virginia for a federal parole violation and failure to appear in court for a 2018 aggravated robbery charge, per a spokesperson for the marshals service.
According to the spokesperson, Smith answered the door at the house on Republic Avenue where he was apprehended, but quickly shut the door on officers. He allegedly ran up to the attic and was arrested there.
