Ohio State lost a legend today as two-time All-American Jim Houston has died at the age of 80 earlier this week, the Cleveland Browns announced.
Houston was a three-year starter as an end at Ohio State under Woody Hayes from 1957 to 1959, winning a national title his debut season. He contributed on both sides of the ball all three years, and though primarily a blocker on offense, was the team's leading receiver in 1959.
In both the 1958 and 1959 seasons, Houston was named an All-American as well as the team's MVP, and in 2006, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
