Former Ohio State junior safety Brendon White announced Friday morning on Twitter that he is transferring to Rutgers for his last year of eligibility.
After ending last season as the Rose Bowl defensive MVP, White didn’t exactly produce the same numbers this year. This season, White has made 19 total tackles compared to last year’s 46. Ohio State’s new defensive scheme has proved to be heads and tails better than last year’s, however it typically only requires one safety on the field, and that job has been going to Jordan Fuller more often than not.
