Former Ohio State Quarterback C.J. Stroud Named AFC Player of the Month for November

C.J. Stroud wasn’t just the best rookie in the AFC for November, he was the best player in the entire conference.

On Thursday, the former Ohio State quarterback was named the AFC Player of the Month after leading the conference with 1,466 passing yards and 10 passing touchdowns in four November games.

Stroud is the first former Ohio State quarterback ever to win an NFL Player of the Month award and just the second rookie quarterback ever to win a Player of the Month award, joining Deshaun Watson, who also won his award while playing for the Houston Texans.
