A week and a half ago, we learned that Ohio State linebacker Keandre Jones had entered the NCAA transfer portal, indicating that his days as a Buckeye were over. Now, according to 247Sports’ Jeff Ermann, the Good Counsel, Md. native is returning home to join Mike Locksley’s Maryland Terrapin program.
Jones, had originally been committed to the Terps, when Locksley was the offensive coordinator and interim head coach. However, when D.J. Durkin got the head coaching job instead of Locksley, Jones joined friend and fellow Marylander Dwayne Haskins in flipping to be a part of OSU’s 2016 recruiting class.
