An Ohio State legend will kick off the Cleveland Guardians' three-game home series with the Minnesota Twins on Friday.
Jim Tressel, Ohio State football's national-championship-winning head coach from 2001-2010, will throw out the first pitch before the Guardians' series opener with the Twins to celebrate Youngstown State University Night.

Tressel coached the Penguins' football program for 15 seasons before he arrived in Columbus and won four national championships in the NCAA's Division I-AA.
