Taylor Mikesell is getting another opportunity to play in the WNBA.

The Atlanta Dream announced the signing of the former Ohio State sharpshooter, who was selected by the Indiana Fever with the No. 13 overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft but was released prior to the start of the season, on Monday.

Mikesell’s release from the Fever increased discourse about the need for the WNBA to expand beyond 12 teams, considering that Mikesell was the first pick of the second round of the draft.
