Duane Washington Jr. has officially made it in the NBA.
After playing his entire rookie season up to this point on a two-way contract, Washington has now officially earned a long-term spot on an NBA roster as the Indiana Pacers are reportedly converting his deal to a multi-year NBA contract.
Players on two-way contracts are paid a flat rate that is equal to half of the league’s minimum salary and the contracts are not guaranteed, meaning the player can be cut at any time and only receive their salary up to that point.
