Just seven games into his NFL career, former Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa is already looking like one of the best defensive ends in the NFL. Heading into tonight’s game with the Arizona Cardinals, Bosa already has 11 tackles for loss, seven sacks, a forced fumble, fumble recovery, and an interception. As good as Bosa’s starts are so far, he has been even better than the numbers show. Bosa has a 23.2% disruption rate, which is best among defensive ends to play at least 100 snaps.
While Bosa is a physically gifted athlete, he also did have an advantage that most defensive linemen don’t have.
