A week after entering the transfer portal, the former Ohio State corner has a new home, committing to Tennessee on Monday morning.
Turrentine arrived at Ohio State as a four-star recruit in the class of 2021 and redshirted last season after playing in just four games as a true freshman. However, he was among the standouts of Ohio State's spring game, in which he played the most snaps of any Buckeye (106) and recorded nine tackles with a pass breakup.
Despite his performance in the spring game, Turrentine was unlikely to be in the two-deep at safety for Ohio State this season.
