The Buckeye big man will get another chance to play professional basketball
The Amir Williams era at Ohio State may not be fondly remembered by many Ohio State fans, as Williams was never quite able to live up to his lofty billing as a recruit while in Columbus. But Amir Williams will get another chance to continue his basketball career and develop, now in the D-League, as he was drafted 6th overall by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the affiliate team of the Houston Rockets.
Williams, a former McDonalds All-American as a high school player, averaged 6.
