Former GlenOak star running back Bri'onte Dunn has been dismissed from Ohio State for a violation of team rules, the school announced in an email.
With Ezekiel Elliott off to the NFL, Dunn was expected to have a large role in OSU's offense during his senior season. He was competing for carries with freshman Mike Weber, junior Curtis Samuel, senior Dontre Wilson and others.
Dunn was regarded by most recruiting websites as a top 100 prospect in 2012 and chose Ohio State over Michigan. With the Buckeyes, though, he was never the featured running back with players like Elliott and Carlos Hyde blocking his way.
