GLENDALE, Ariz.: Ohio State saw All-America defensive end Joey Bosa ejected less than 10 minutes into Friday’s showdown against Notre Dame.
But running back Ezekiel Elliott paid a touching tribute to his departed teammate, like Elliott a junior bound for the NFL Draft. After tying a BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl record with his fourth rushing touchdown in the third quarter, Elliott stopped at the back of the end zone and mimicked Bosa’s trademark shrug.
Projected as the first pick in the April draft, Bosa responded from the locker room, tweeting, “See you Zeke,” followed by a red heart.
