Given the fact that former Ohio State running back and current Dallas Cowboy Ezekiel Elliott has impressive numbers throughout the first nine weeks of the 2016 NFL season, the Missouri native is a front-runner for Rookie of the Year. Elliott leads the league in rushing yards and yards after contact, while carrying his team to the best record in the league.
The focus shifts from whether or not Zeke will win Rookie of the Year to whether or not he will be named the MVP of the National Football League.
Zeke added over 200 total yards of offense to his MVP resume Sunday afternoon, having 114 rushing yards, 95 receiving yards and three total touchdowns, including two of them with under two minutes left in the fourth quarter.
