Ezekiel Elliott apologized for his outburst after the loss to Michigan State last week by saying he made a mistake.
Elliott was in a much better mood after rushing for 214 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries in Saturday’s 42-13 win over rival Michigan. Following the game, he was interviewed by ESPN’s Holly Rowe, who jokingly asked if he was happy with the play-calling. Elliott took the opportunity to apologize.
“Last week was definitely a mistake,” Elliott said. “I let emotions get the best of me. You don’t know how bad I feel about that. I never want to distract anything from the team.
