Ezekiel Elliott’s best game in years played a big role in the New England Patriots earned just their third win of the season on Thursday night.
Elliott picked up 140 yards from scrimmage – his most in any game since October 2021 – to account for nearly half of the Patriots’ 303 yards in their 21-18 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He picked up more than half of those yards on receptions, catching seven passes for 72 yards, the most he’s had in a single game since 2018.
Those seven catches were highlighted by an 11-yard touchdown on the Patriots’ opening drive, Elliott’s first receiving touchdown in his last 30 games.
