Ezekiel Elliott enters the 2015 season with his feet firmly on the ground.
Of course, that makes sense: He’s a running back, after all.
But the challenge for him to stay grounded has grown this year.
First, he is the starting running back for No. 1-ranked Ohio State, which heads into the opener at Virginia Tech tonight with the goal of repeating its national-title run of a year ago.
In addition, Elliott became a major force by tearing through the 2014 postseason with 696 yards over three games — performances that elevated him into front-runner status in the Heisman Trophy race entering this season.
