Maybe Ezekiel Elliott was right to complain about his lack of touches against Michigan State. It seemed that most people nationally agreed that Elliott’s comments were justified; now he has awards to prove it.
On Tuesday, Ezekiel was named the 2015 Big Ten Graham-George Offensive Player of the Year, as well as the Ameche-Dayne Running Back of the Year. That is certainly high praise.
Elliott is second all-time in total rushing yards at Ohio State. Unsurprisingly Archie Griffin is at the top of that list.
While the general consensus is that Derrick Henry from the Alabama Crimson Tide will win the Heisman, Elliott’s name does get brought up in the conversation.
