Emeka Egbuka Becomes Second Player in School History to Record Two 1,000-Yard Receiving Seasons

Emeka Egbuka has cemented his legacy as one of the most productive receivers in Ohio State history.

With a 24-yard catch in the fourth quarter against Notre Dame, Egbuka collected his second career 1,000-yard receiving season, joining former teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. as the only Buckeyes ever to do so. He fumbled at the end of the play but Ohio State still won the national championship 34-23.

Egbuka set Ohio State's career receptions record earlier in the College Football Playoff national championship game. He closed his Buckeye career strong with six receptions for 64 yards against the Fighting Irish.
