Dwayne Haskins breaks Drew Brees, Curtis Painter’s Big Ten touchdown, yardage records

After breaking Joe Germaine (yards) and J.T. Barrett’s (TDs) single-season school passing records last week against Maryland, Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins is turning in an impressive performance against the No. 4 Michigan Wolverines, and in the process he eclipsed Drew Brees’ 1998 single-season Big Ten passing TD record of 39 passing scores.

Coming into the game with 36 throwing TDs, Haskins used two 24-yard touchdowns to true-freshman Chris Olave, a 31-yard connection with senior captain Johnnie Dixon, and a one-yard score to K.J. Hill to pass the former Purdue QB’s record.
