On a solemn Sunday afternoon in Denver, Dre’Mont Jones made plenty of noise in the Broncos’ matchup with the Detroit Lions.
The Denver Broncos started the game by honoring the life of former receiver Demaryius Thomas, who died on Thursday.
When the game resumed, Jones continued his assault on opposing teams’ backfields. This week, it was Jared Goff and the Lions who experienced his wrath. Especially during the Lions' second series of the second half.
On first down, Jones sacked Goff for a nine-yard loss. On second down, Jones dropped running back Godwin Igwebuike for a three-yard tackle for loss.
