This weekend the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines will face off in the 112th edition of “The Game”. Despite it being a top 15 showdown, the battle is not in prime time, and will kick off at noon. While many other rivalries get later kickoffs, the Wolverines and Buckeyes prefer to stick to an outdated tradition.
Having the game at noon is a problem for a variety of reasons, some of which include recruiting and fan festivities. This will only be Ohio State’s third noon game of the season. The team has been getting used to 3:30 PM ET starts this year, when they weren’t playing at 8PM.
