It is nearly 2,300 miles from Calabasas, California to Columbus, Ohio, but Darnay Holmes has made the trip on more than one occasion. There is a pretty simple explanation for this.
Ohio State is intriguing to the five-star prospect in the 2017 class.
“Distance doesn’t matter for me and my family thinks it’s a great school so I keep coming back to see how the school fits me,” Holmes said following Friday Night Lights. “It fits me pretty well, and I’m going to take my time with my decision.”
The Buckeyes will gladly wait even though they are far from the favorite to land Holmes.
