This actually turned out to be much more difficult than I anticipated. Alabama running back Derrick Henry has been the leader -- not just for me, but for almost everyone -- since the Crimson Tide beat LSU.
The only thing standing between Henry and the Heisman was conference championship weekend. And Henry did what he's done all along, be a workhorse for Alabama, reel off a ton of yards and score. But this weekend was different because of what Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson and Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey did in their respective conference championships.
So I'm changing my top five, the first significant shake up here in a few weeks.
