At least in Hilliard, it would have made for good theater when Hilliard Davidson senior quarterback Nick Iske reported to the football office to begin his overnight recruiting stay at Capital in the fall of 2013.
Iske’s ambassador was none other than Chase Longwell, who not only was a quarterback but also was a graduate of that “other” Hilliard team across town, Darby.
“I thought everything went great,” Longwell said. “But, yes, I do mess around with Nick and the other guys from Davidson that are on the team. You know we beat them 17-3 my senior year.
