Eilar Hardy was 23 years old and had a bachelor’s degree when he enrolled at Bowling Green during the summer, but he might as well have been a freshman all over again. He was uncertain and a little scared.
Hardy had transferred from Notre Dame and was about to take nine credit hours to be accepted into graduate school and become eligible to play football. Because of new teammates Roger Lewis and Marcus Milton, fellow Pickerington Central graduates, his fears were assuaged.
“It actually has been fun to experience all of this,” said Hardy, a strong safety.
