Ohio State added to its 2016 recruiting class on Thursday with the commitment of cornerback Wayne Davis.
From Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk, Va., Davis became the 17th member of the OSU class. Current OSU defensive end Jalyn Holmes, part of the 2014 class, is from the same high school.

Davis had been courted heavily by in-state Virginia Tech as well as Michigan before committing to the Buckeyes. He is ranked 19th among cornerback prospects nationally by Rivals.com.
