C.J. Stroud is in the thick of the Heisman Trophy race.
Ohio State's first-year starter was already a legitimate Heisman contender heading into this weekend's matchup with Indiana, but now he's looking like one of the frontrunners as his odds saw a big jump this week.
Stroud now has +350 (7/2) odds to win the Heisman Trophy, up from +800 (8/1) last week. The jump vaults him to second place, behind only Alabama's Bryce Young, who has +160 (8/5) odds, according to BetOnline.ag.
Stroud's performance this week lifted him over Ole Miss' Matt Corral, who was last week's frontrunner with +175 odds (7/4), but saw his odds dip to +400 (4/1) this week.
