C.J. Stroud Breaks Record for Most Passing Attempts Without An Interception to Start NFL Career

No quarterback has ever attempted more passes without an interception to start an NFL career than C.J. Stroud.

Through the Houston Texans’ opening drive of the second half against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, the former Ohio State quarterback threw 178 pass attempts to begin his NFL career without being picked off once. As a result, he surpassed the previous record held by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who attempted 176 passes before throwing his first interception as a pro.
