The summer hype train keeps chugging.
Sporting News on Tuesday dropped its 2021 preseason All-American teams, which featured four Buckeyes. Senior wide receiver Chris Olave and fifth-year defensive tackle Haskell Garrett were chosen among the first-team All-Americans, and junior wideout Garrett Wilson and fifth-year offensive tackle Thayer Munford were second-team selections.
Olave's a popular preseason pick given his outstanding resume and standing as a potential 2022 first-round NFL draft pick. So, too, is Garrett who was an All-American honoree by several outlets last season due to his breakout campaign. Munford, as a fourth-year starting left tackle, has said he wants to be the best offensive tackle in college football.
