Welcome to Campus Connection, the only place where you'll see coverage of the Ohio State pottery club or chess team throughout the interwebs.
While it flies under the radar for hosting solely non-revenue sports at Ohio State, Jesse Owens Stadium is noted for its views- every seat in the house is a good one- and it's success since opening in 2001.
Of course, the stadium is named for one of the greatest athletes of all-time, Jesse Owens, a track & field star who won four gold medals in the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin.
The newest sporting venue on campus by about four years (Bill Davis Stadium was built in 1997), Jesse Owens Stadium features a natural grass surface, four banks of lighting (for night games), two concession stands, locker rooms for both teams as well as officials, a press box, and a jumbo scoreboard.
