The best news of the weekend: $1.6 million was raised for pediatric cancer research, thanks to Ohio State's BuckeyeThon.
BuckeyeThon is a 24-hour, massive charity dance marathon put on by Ohio State students. Participants seek donations and all proceeds are donated to the Nationwide Children's Hospital.
This year's total of $1,603,439.49 broke the all-time record of money raised, topping last year's total of $1,510,036.39.
