Yesterday was another busy offseason day for the Buckeyes. With news that Ohio State is holding on to linebackers coach Al Washington, Thursday provided the good news everybody wanted to hear. Keeping this staff together is a priority thanks to their cohesion as a unit. Whether it be the on-field development, their ability build relationships with current and future players, and certainly recruiting as well, the news of Tennessee losing out to Ohio State for Washington is huge to put it mildly. The class of 2022, specifically with three linebackers already committed, has to be jumping for joy that the man who will coach them when they arrive is not going anywhere yet.
