Ohio State improved to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play yesterday in convincing fashion, curb-stomping Maryland, 66-17, on Homecoming in Ohio Stadium.
Freshman sensation TreVeyon Henderson continued his Heisman-discussion-worthy start with 169 total yards and three touchdowns, giving him 11 end zone trips in his first six collegiate games.
Henderson was one of many offensive standouts including the incredible receiving trio of Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson and Jason Smith-Njibga. The threesome scorched a Terrapins squad missing its top-two corners to the tune of 17 receptions on 22 targets for 307 yards and four touchdowns. And hell that was basically through not even three full quarters before Ryan Day more aggressively shuffled in his reserves.
