Will Howard bounced back with yet another 80%-plus completion rate against Purdue after his worst game of the season at Penn State one week before.
The Buckeyes easily took care of business, dominating Purdue in a shutout win over the Boilermakers Saturday afternoon in Ohio Stadium, and Howard’s efficient play was one reason why.
Like he has throughout much of the season, Howard started the game with plenty of accuracy. He completed eight of his first 10 passes and only threw back-to-back incompletions once on his way to completing 21-of-26 passes for 260 yards and three touchdowns against Purdue before being pulled in the fourth quarter.
