Ohio State women’s hockey is officially off the schneid. After a rough few weeks that saw the Buckeyes’ losing streak hit five games, the team rolled into St. Cloud looking to get back into the win column. They did just that in a thorough 4-0 victory.
The Bucks hit the ice firing. They outshot the Huskies 19-10 in the opening period. Midway through the frame Rebecca Freiburger staked the Bucks to a 1-0 lead. It was the third goal of the season for the junior forward.
That score would hold until the third period when the Buckeyes unleashed another barrage on Emma Polusny.
