Ohio State has long been a school that has interested Jeremiah Francis. His dad, Jerry, scored more than 1,100 points for the Buckeyes from 1986-89, and he’s been on Ohio State’s recruiting radar for some time.
Now, after a career-high 27 points helped Pickerington Central knock off host Westerville South in a battle of unbeaten schools, the sophomore guard is crossing his fingers for a little bit more.
“I hope it sends a message to them,” he said of Tuesday night’s performance. “Hopefully a good thing comes out of it.”
That good thing would likely be a scholarship offer, and the Buckeyes got a firsthand look at what the 6-2 guard can do.
