Bob Hunter's Rumblings: OSU working on impressive haul of defensive backs

Ohio State’s top-ranked 2017 football recruiting class already features three stellar defensive back prospects, but the Buckeyes could double that total before signing day.

Marc Givler, an analyst for Rivals.com, said that coach Urban Meyer and his staff are in the running for three other blue-chip DBs for 2017, and likely would make room for all three — and thus, all six — if they get the nods.

“They have made all three of these guys a priority,” Givler said.

He referred to Lamont Wade, of Clairton, Pa.; Richard LeCounte, from Hinesville, Ga.; and Jeffrey Okudah, from Grand Prairie, Texas.
