Bob Hunter commentary | Rumblings: Top football recruits plan visits to Ohio State

Ohio State’s name has come up frequently this week with top football prospects attending The Opening camp in Beaverton, Ore.

Four-star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence of Wake Forest, N.C., ESPN’s No.17 overall prospect, has only two official visits planned at this point — at Alabama and Clemson. But the 6-foot-5, 335-pound Lawrence said Ohio State definitely will be among the other schools he visits.

“Ohio State, that will be an official, and Stanford,” Lawrence told ESPN. “I like Larry Johnson at Ohio State a lot, and with Stanford I just want to see what it’s all about.
