Ohio State's men's basketball team will play Minnesota at Madison Square Garden during the 2017-18 season as part of the Big Ten’s “Super Saturday” event that also includes a conference hockey game, the league announced today.
The Buckeyes will face the Golden Gophers in Manhattan on Jan. 20, 2018, with Minnesota playing Michigan State in hockey as the nightcap. Next season, the Ohio State’s men’s hockey team will face Wisconsin in hockey Jan. 28 after the Badgers play Rutgers in basketball earlier that day. Times for the games will be announced at a later date, as will the 2019 participants.
