Ohio State punter Cameron Johnston has been named the Big Ten special teams player of the week after a booming performance on Saturday against Western Michigan in a 38-12 victory.
Johnston averaged 51.5 yards on his four punts, including a season-long 67-yarder. Three of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line -- at the 1, the 8 and 13.
That inside-the-20 marksmanship gave the Australian 64 in his career, second in school history to the 78 by A.J. Trapasso from 2005-08.
