After slaying the dragon that is Villanova last week, No. 10 Ohio State now enters a stretch of games against smaller, non-conference opponents that are all must-win games for Chris Holtmann’s squad. The first game in this stretch of tune-ups took place Monday night against the Stetson University Hatters, out of the Atlantic Sun Conference. Ohio State opened as 29.5 point favorites against the Hatters, who went 7-24 last season. Behind Kyle Young’s double-double (15 points, 10 rebounds), and a combined 19 assists as a team, the Buckeyes had little trouble putting down Stetson, winning 86-51.
The Buckeyes rolled out the same starting lineup against Stetson as they did last week versus Villanova, with CJ Walker running point, Luther Muhammad and Duane Washington Jr.
