Jalen Washington’s speed helped the Ohio State baseball team defeat Morehead State 6-3 last night at Bill Davis Stadium.
With the score tied in the fourth inning, Washington led off with a walk, and one out later he stole second before scoring on a double by Connor Sabanosh to give the Buckeyes (27-10) a 4-3 lead.
Washington led off the sixth with a bunt single and advanced to second on a throwing error and to third on a failed pickoff attempt. He scored on a triple by Troy Montgomery.
One out later, Pat Porter singled home Montgomery to make it 6-3.
