The largest crowd of the season settled into its seats anticipating one of the best matchups the Big Ten has had to offer to date between sixth-ranked Illinois and 23rd-ranked Ohio State.
What 2,416 people saw was something of a Rembrandt-like canvas of fastballs and sliders thrown at almost every point of the strike zone by Illini left-hander Kevin Duchene and a team that is every bit as good as its record and ranking.
