Kelsey Mitchell, take a bow.
Though her team's season ended in the Sweet 16 against Tennessee, Ohio State's sophomore sensation picked up Associated Press All-American honors on Monday. She is the third player awarded All-American status in the program's history, joining Jessica Davenport (2005) and Jantel Lavender (2010, '11).
Mitchell scored 889 points this season, breaking the school's record of 873 points in a single season, which she set last year. She made 126 three-pointers, falling one shy of her single-season record from last year as well.
The Cincinnatian was a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection this season and was named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team for the second-straight year.
